Japan's Biggest Railway Museum was Opened in 2016


         Japan is one of the developed countries in asia. Japanese-made technology has been able to explore the world of international, one of which transportation technology. Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki is some evidence of the country's progress. in addition to the above Japanese transport is also famous for its chariot. Shinkansen train is one made ​​in Japan were able to penetrate the speed of 512 km per hour. in Japan there are multiple carriers and carriage museum is also known as Japan Railway (JR).

          West Japan Railway (JR West) disburse 7 million yen to build the largest railway museum in Japan that will be opened in spring 2016 in Kyoto. Umekoji Museum Park, in Chukyo area, will be built on a land area of ​​31,000 square meters to display the locomotives, carriages, trains and various features of ancient times.
          JR West predicts there will be 800. 000 visitors per year. Kyoto City will provide land beside Umekoji Steam Locomotive Museum which also belongs JR West, to build a new museum  with three floors.

After completed, the museum will be merged with Umekoji Steam Locomotive Museum and displays about 50 locomotives and carriages.
          The size of the new museum will be bigger than Railway Museum operated by East Japan Railway (JR East) in Saitama.
          JR West Museum will also host more exhibits than SC Maglev Railway Park and operated by Central Japan Railway (JR Tokai)  in Nagoya. Among many trains are on display in Kyoto, there will be 500 series Shinkansen, fast train which operated commercially in Japan that its speed reaches 300 km per hour.
          Trains will also be featured with style hood bonnet at the front of the locomotive. Seat passenger in the train can be turned into bed for the night journey.  Beside that,  JR West also plans to dispaly the train  that used to repair another train on the rail.
